Demand for landed houses in the upper-middle segment of Tangerang Selatan, Banten, particularly in the Ciputat area, has seen a significant increase. In the first half of 2024, growth reached 10-15% compared to the same period the previous year.

This surge in demand is evident in the resort-themed township of Paradise Resort City (60 ha), developed by Progress Group on Jalan Aria Putra, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan.

According to an official statement from Progress Group on Thursday (22/8/2024), Paradise Resort City has currently developed three residential clusters with a total of around 800 households.

Meyrick Sumantri, Director of Sales & Marketing and owner of Progress Group, stated that Paradise Resort City is highly sought after by millennial professionals at the manager level and above. This is due to its proximity to South Jakarta, comprehensive facilities, easy access, and still-affordable home prices.

"The majority of our consumers are established millennials aged 25 to 45 years old. They choose to live in Paradise Resort City because of its adequate and continuously developing infrastructure," Meyrick revealed during a new cluster product knowledge event for Elysian Residences in Jakarta on Wednesday (21/8/2024).

In addition to serving as a residential area, Meyrick explained that homebuyers in Paradise Resort City will also enjoy various facilities on par with a self-contained city, which is an additional draw of the development.

These facilities will provide added value that contributes to an increase in the investment value of the properties for consumers. "This has been proven in other Progress Group projects such as Paradise Serpong City and Paradise Serpong City 2," Meyrick stated.

To improve the accessibility of Paradise Resort City and accelerate its development, Progress Group has added three gates to the township. The north gate is located on Jalan Aria Putra (already existing), the east gate on Jalan H. Taip (to be opened soon), and the south gate on Jalan Bambu Apus, providing easy access to the Serpong–Cinere toll road.

Meyrick explained that the most unique aspect of Paradise Resort City is the plan to complement the area with a resort-themed shopping mall destination that will offer a unique experience for visitors, including an artificial beach.

"We want to create a new innovation. There will be a mall in Indonesia that will have an artificial beach. We were inspired by a mall in Australia that has a quite extensive artificial beach. Given the resort concept of Paradise Resort City, we will provide an artificial beach in the mall," he elaborated.

This resort mall will be the second mall developed by Progress Group. Previously, they launched Paradise Walk Serpong in Paradise Serpong City, which has been recognized as a successful culinary destination in the Serpong area.

Meyrick added that Paradise Resort City will also feature a unique TROPS culinary area with an open retail dining concept, presenting a variety of food and beverage (F&B) tenants. The first phase of TROPS is currently under development, with the main tenant being Restoran Kampung Kecil, scheduled to open in November.
